Our client, a dynamic organization in the finance sector, is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team. As a Tax Accountant, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Tax Accountant

Location: North Versailles, PA

Pay Range: $60-75K DOE

What's the Job?

• Oversee the preparation of multi-state payroll and sales & use tax filings for a multi-entity, multi-state organization.
• Reconcile all taxes to general ledger (payroll, sales, real estate, and others).
• Work with a third-party vendor to prepare personal property tax returns.
• Ensure non-income tax filings are completed timely.
• Conduct federal, state, and local tax research and assist with other tax-related initiatives.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or comparable experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of payroll tax experience.
• Experience with tax accounting in a retail setting preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of various accounting software applications.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.
