Job Description

One of Wripple’s clients, a global airlines company, is looking for a Project Manager to help ensure delivery of high-quality social media projects on time and on budget. In this role, you will work directly with internal client teams to help execute social strategy, content, and beyond.

This is a foundational opportunity for someone who thrives on establishing new process in a collaborative way. Specific tasks include partnering with client’s Social Strategy team to develop an intake process, project templates, and some additional process flows, and will evolve to intaking social briefs, assigning resources, negotiating sensitive timelines, acting as the primary (but not sole) point of contact for internal stakeholders, and supporting the internal social team’s needs. This person will report to the Manager, Project Management, and work collaboratively with the entire Marketing team across social, program strategy, creative, and some agency partners.

This position starts as a 40 hour/week contract position for approximately 12 months with the potential to extend for the right fit. This resource must be located in the ATLANTA Metro area and open to hybrid onsite (2-3 days/week).

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and documenting process for new Social PM function
  • Developing of key Workfront artifacts like templates, custom forms, reports, and more to support social strategy projects and processes
  • Creating and maintaining project plans with cross-team dependencies within project management tool, Workfront
  • Includes identifying key elements/deliverables, and plotting out an overarching project plan in close collaboration/partnership with the social SME, strategy lead, and program sponsor for each supported initiative
  • Assisting in making project assignments amongst social strategy team
  • Resource allocation
  • Maintaining task lists, due dates and project statuses within Workfront for approximately 20-40 projects at once
  • Looking for efficiencies in timeline through cross-collaboration with project manager peers
  • Ensuring social strategy team is being considered and informed on existing initiatives/projects, and that work is accounted for and represented in a project plan
  • Keeping Operations and Social leaders and peers informed on team bandwidth issues
  • Acting as the primary (but not sole) point of contact for the social strategy team, including but not limited to: leading stakeholder and social team status calls, building relationships, maintaining and communicating timelines, and escalating issues/risk

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of proven project management experience in an agency or in-house setting

• Must have experience and knowledge using Workfront

• Be willing to work in a hybrid on-site and work from home setting

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment

• Self-starter, hungry to learn processes quickly and optimize as needed

• Adaptable and flexible to try things and do what is needed to help the team

• Understanding of social content development, influencer marketing, and audience engagement project processes and general timelines

• Knowledge in vendor management a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of Workfront
  • Experience in building net new processes that enable efficiency and effectiveness
