The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the financial activities of the company, ensuring legal compliance, and providing accurate financial reports and analysis. Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for: Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations. Participating in regular tax audits and payroll. Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenue. Managing month-end and year-end closing. Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department. Organizing financial data into useable information and maintain updated records. Tracking the progress of financial and accounting objectives. . Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant position will have the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. A Master's degree would be an added advantage. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory. A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the finance industry.
