Job Description

Scrum Master

Location: Miami, FL (Onsite, 5 days per week)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement detailed program strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Manage and maintain engineering team workflows, reporting, and dashboards using tools like Jira.
  • Track team performance metrics such as velocity and sprint progress, ensuring alignment with goals.
  • Identify and resolve roadblocks impacting team performance and project timelines.
  • Effectively coordinate and manage resources to drive successful project execution.
  • Foster collaboration across teams, ensuring seamless communication and program delivery.
  • Guide the team in adopting agile principles, self-organization, and cross-functional practices.
  • Anticipate, assess, and address risks, dependencies, and issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to established quality and performance standards.
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation within the team and across the organization.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, outlining program milestones, risks, and overall status.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or an equivalent certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role within software development.

Key Competencies and Skills

  • Expertise in Agile frameworks and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, XP, Jira, Trello).
  • Strong leadership, communication, facilitation, and conflict management capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, particularly under deadlines.
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle, testing practices, and quality assurance.
