Job Description
Position Description: Contributes to the Dental Provider Relations job family in a support capacity. Supports and maintains positive relationships with health care professionals within the network. Provides high quality service to health care professionals via phone, mail or e-mail. Provide assistance regarding education, contract questions and non-routine claim issues. Coordinates communications process on issues such as administrative and dental policy, reimbursement and provider utilization patterns. Assists providers in contract compliance and credentialing issues. Assists with preparation or modification of provider contracts. Works under own initiative, prioritizes own work, and meets agreed timelines. Work is subject to frequent review by more experienced professionals in Provider Relations.
Required Qualifications - High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely.
- Ability to convey complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from others.
- Strong interpersonal skills, establishing rapport and working well with others.
- Strong customer service skills
- Computer proficiency, willing to learn new systems
- Ability to work in a goal orientated environment
- Ability to meet high standards for attendance
Desired Qualifications: - Previous Outbound or Inbound Call Center.
- Prior experience working in a dental or medical healthcare environment.
- Basic healthcare terminology.
- Experience in a virtual working environment.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 20 - 30 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
