You will join the foundation at an exciting time, with the opportunity to make a transformational impact. The foundation is in the public phase of a historic campaign to raise $3 billion to build a better future for Nebraska. The campaign is being led by many enthusiastic volunteers representing all areas of the University of Nebraska System.
Ways you will make an impact:
Collaborate with Prospect Management staff and fundraisers to develop strategies, identify new prospects, and advise on what research /reports are needed.
Develop, design, and modify reports to advance fundraising and engagement efforts.
Provide research, data collection and analysis around externally obtained information such as wealth, capacity, interest areas, and personal history.
Research specific corporations, foundations, and individuals to create and update reports and biographical information pertinent to the fundraising process.
Remain current on latest technologies available for the process of prospect research and analysis.
Identify new and on-going needs and long-term plans for application of information technology to development and research.

What you need:
Education: bachelor's degree or equivalent required
Minimum Experience: 0-2 years of experience in relevant field with transferrable skills, prospect research methodology or related data integrity field. Other relevant experience includes performing research duties in a development, academic, nonprofit, library or corporate setting. Preferred Experience:1-2 years of experience writing SQL queries.
Ability to learn relationship management and reporting software, SQL language.
Ability to think strategically and collaborate with others.
Strong logical reasoning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work autonomously and prioritize a broad range of assignments.
Ability to build relationships and work within a team, including technical and business stakeholders.
Strong oral and written communications.
Highly adaptable and able to adjust to changing priorities.
