JOB SUMMARY:
Maintenance Lubrication Technician will perform required lubrication, greasing and preventative maintenance on a variety of automated production equipment, bakery machinery and facilities equipment.
SHIFT & HOURS:
Monday-Friday 6AM-2PM

FLSA Status: Non - exempt position
We are seeking a Lubrication Technician to join our hard working and fast-paced team. The Lube Technician will perform required lubrication and greasing of bakery machinery and equipment as directed.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs lubrication and greasing of bakery machinery and equipment as directed.
- Performs preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment.
- Performs daily rounds of equipment to ensure health and operation of systems and equipment.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and following company Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
- Adherence to Franz Family Bakery Core Values.
Job Requirements:
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in repair, assembly and disassembly of machinery.
- Understand principles of machinery lubrication and machinery operations.
- Ability to read and understand (English) written instructions and diagrams.
- Must have a cooperative behavior with ability to be a productive and safe employee.
- Safety First attitude with proven safe work practices, particularly with "Lockout-Tag out"
- Forklift license or ability to obtain one.
- Other lift certifications a plus
- Ability to work in high temperature environment.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be available to work any day and any shift, including holidays.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment math test, background check, drug screen and physical.
- Must have effective communication skills.
