On behalf of our client, BBSI is seeking a full-time Skilled Landscaping Maintenance Technician. The Technicians will have the opportunity to join an expanding organization which maintains some of the most aesthetically pleasing and celebrated landscapes and residences in the Rogue Valley.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES:

• Mow lawns, and trim and edge around hardscapes and softscapes
• Plant flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes
• Trim shrubs, pull weeds, and general pruning.
• Apply fertilizer to turf and plants.
• Blow walkways of debris
• Perform minor repairs to irrigation systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong work ethic
• Ability to follow directions.
• Must bring the same commitment and attention to detail to each project.
• One year of landscaping experience
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Possess a strong customer service mentality.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Able to take and follow directions, show initiative, and display a good work ethic.
• Maneuver up to 50 pounds
• Able to work outside in all types of weather.

Candidates must pass drug screen and background check upon job offer and other pre-employment job requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous landscape installation experience including irrigation systems.
• Previous experience in operating landscaping equipment: mowers, blowers, hedge trimmer, weed eater, etc.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

OTHER DETAILS:

• Full-time: 30-40/hrs. per week; depending on experience
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Pay Rate: $17.00 an hour
• Work Location: In Person
• Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Experience: Landscape Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
• License/Certification: Driver's License REQUIRED
