The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine is seeking a board certified or board eligible full-time generalist Physician. Candidates should have an interest in medical and resident student teaching, developing an active clinical practice, and other research academic activities. The rank of appointment (Instructor/Assistant/Associate) is open and will be commensurate with the experience and professional accomplishments of the selected applicant.

This position will be 100% clinical teaching and located at UC's West Chester Hospital.

Essential Functions

  • Medical student and resident teaching.
  • Developing an active clinical practice.
  • Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
  • Attend meetings, participate in governance, prepare materials for teaching.
  • Evaluate and develop curriculum for department and/or college.
  • Serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework.
  • Serve on college or university committees and participate in curriculum development activities.
  • Serve on graduate committees, supervise laboratories (where appropriate), independent study activities, and off-campus learning.
  • Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities.
  • Render service to the professional or lay community which is relevant to the individual's academic specialty.
  • Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO).
  • Completion of a board-certified residency program and formal Fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
  • Ohio medical license.
  • Board certification or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
  • Candidates will be expected to be fully boarded in both within five (5) years.
