Job Description Job Description Summary: This position will be part of the xEV Regional PE group for Electric Vehicle products and will be responsible for activity and support for New Product Introduction and Mass Production. The purpose for the position will be to support activities to establish equipment, processes, and quotations for programs related to EV (electric vehicle) and ICE (internal combustion engine) products. This position will be part of the Production Engineering Team for both EV and ICE products and will help support continuous improvement of processes, workflow, associate work activity and logistics.
This position offers opportunities to work with a wide variety of aspects of the manufacturing processes, a wide variety of departments and levels of management within the company both domestic and international. Essential functions of this job include:
- Ensure equipment specifications to produce products and align with regional requirements.
- Confirm that equipment is installed and meets required specifications.
- Ensure that equipment is safe to utilize for all associates.
- Observe like and associates to spot and improve ergonomics and inefficient processes.
- Design stations and coordinate line activity to minimize downtime and enhance efficiency
- Assist other departments in setting up testing trials/experiments for customer/internal troubles, including countermeasure activity as needed.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills): - Must have transportation to and from Greenfield, IN facility. (Not a remote position)
- Working on Engineering or Technical Degree or have been accepted into and planning on attending a post-secondary education facility for Engineering or Technical education.
- Ability to make quick, accurate, data driven decisions and utilize excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy with both personal computers and manufacturing systems.
Preferred Qualifications: - Programming/coding experience
- Work experience within automotive industry, with emphasis in electro/mechanical devices
- Knowledge of EV and ICE components
- Knowledge of APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing

Software: - Intermediate experience required in Windows, MSWord, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Project Management Software preferred (MS Project)
- Experience in CAD ware (AutoCad, or other)

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy
