Job Description

Position Title: Forklift Operator

Wage: $18.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 3:00pm-11:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great Forklift Operator position available at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. 

Forklift Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist Production Lead in loading parts to be heat treated.
- Assist in unloading cooled heat-treated parts.
- Assist in cracking cooled parts. 
- Inspect the Forklift Truck daily at the beginning of every shift and log inspection appropriately.
- Operate handheld scanner.
- Use computer-based ERP System as needed.
- Understand and use daily production schedules for the production department supported.
- Understand and use bar code system.
- Create labels for all products as required.
- Forklift operation once trained and certified. 
- Maintain First In First Out storage of goods as required.
- Assist on dock with loading inbound and outbound shipments.
- Continually monitor material in storage for damage or deterioration.
- Supply carious departments with the required materials to maintain smooth and efficient production.
- Move finished goods or materials on process to other departments or to the storage racks as required.

Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 lbs. 
- Tolerate a humid environment.
- Ability to stand, bend and twist for 8 hours.
- Repetitive movements.
- Attention to detail and follow directions.
- Good attendance.
- Computer knowledge.
