Job Description

At Printivity, we’re all about creating a workplace where people can grow, learn, and do their best work. We’re a hard-working and goal-focused team, but we also believe in supporting each other and finding ways to get better every day.

Our Human Resources team is at the heart of making this happen. From welcoming new hires to organizing fun events and helping with employee development, we’re here to create an environment where everyone can thrive.

This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who’s excited to gain hands-on experience in HR, make an impact, and grow with a company that values betterment and collaboration. If you’re ready to take the first step in your HR career, we’d love to have you on our team!

Let’s work together to build a workplace where growth and betterment aren’t just goals—they’re the way we do things.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, organize, and execute employee engagement activities, including team-building events, recognition programs, and company celebrations.
    • Support initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Recruiting Support:
    • Assist with sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and managing job postings.
    • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Employee Relations and Disciplinary Action:
    • Support the HR Manager in addressing employee concerns, documenting performance issues, and administering disciplinary processes in a professional and fair manner.
    • Act as a resource for employees seeking guidance on workplace policies and procedures.
  • Workplace Environment and Culture Development:
    • Promote a culture of betterment by supporting programs that encourage professional growth, continuous learning, and team collaboration.
    • Assist with implementing initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and engagement.

Requirements

  • Must be able to reliably commute for this on-site position, as it is exclusively in-person with no remote or hybrid options.
  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, OR at least 1 year of experience in HR or a related field, OR an HR-related certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A passion for creating positive employee experiences and fostering personal and professional development.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with basic HR functions, such as recruiting, employee relations, or event planning, is a plus but not required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems or tools.
    • Comfort with learning new technologies and processes to support team success.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening, as permitted by law.
