Job Description

Our client, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) Diagnostic Radiologist in the Fresno, CA area. While experience in breast imaging is a plus, it is not required. This is an excellent opportunity for a radiologist looking to join a collaborative team offering flexibility in practice focus and a strong work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret general diagnostic imaging studies.
• Optional: Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRIs.
• Optional: Conduct breast biopsies, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to provide high-quality patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

• BE/BC in Diagnostic Radiology.
• MQSA Certification is a bonus but not required.
• Experience in screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast biopsies is preferred but optional.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to excellent patient care.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
• Practice Mix: Flexible, with options for 70% mammography and 30% general diagnostic radiology or the reverse, depending on physician preference.
• Call:
• Weekday call is 1:12, working in-house until 5:00 pm. Evening call is remotely staffed, minimizing after-hours disruptions.
• Weekend call is 1:7, with one-half day and one full day onsite (8:00 am – 5:00 pm). Weekend evenings are remotely staffed. Remote coverage for one weekend day is being considered.
• Physician will be asked to cover 6 weekends annually.
