Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive leadership and business management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and professional teammates. You'll provide overall leadership responsibility and accountability for the success of a large Service Delivery Center (SDC), ensuring that Alstom remains the global leader in the transportation industry. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Marketing, Finance), communicate strategic visions, develop engagement strategies, and much more. We’ll look to you for: Communicating strategic and functional visions to all Service Delivery Center (SDC) Employees through managers and ensuring execution alignment. Developing and cascading engagement strategies to the Service Delivery Center (SDC) employees, relying on Managers/Supervisors to ensure employee engagement. Developing and assuming accountability for strategic Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) vision at the SDC, leading by example in creating a true safety culture. Developing “win-win” situations with the customer, playing a key role in developing, marketing & selling future business, and maximizing opportunities. Driving budget management to the lowest level of the SDC, being financially astute with a vision for growth and risk mitigation, and being politically savvy for contract management. Serving as a source of professional advice for solving significant customer problems and initiating commercial propositions to the customer for value-added projects. Previous Maintenance Management and Operations-related experience (in rail or similar industry preferred). Experience or understanding of developing and leading similar organizations, preferably in the transportation industry with profit & loss responsibility. Knowledge of strategic business management and customer relationship building. Familiarity with Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) practices and developing a safety culture. Proven general management experience in an organization with multiple functions and disciplines.
