A well-known managed care organization has part-time contract positions for experienced Nurse Practitioners or Internal Medicine NP. LOCATIONS: Lee County onsite. HOURS: Per Diem – No set schedule. First week: Monday-Friday 7-3:30. CONTRACT DATES: March Start date. Ideal training dates: 3/3 or 3/17 - 02/17/2026. Pay Rate: $74.50. License requirements: Nurse Practitioner - BLS – DEA. Responsibilities: Provide Primary Care Treatment in an Employer-based setting. Episodic care (low acuity Urgent Care). Chronic Disease Management for patients 18+. Pediatric Acute Care for ages 2+ (during the summer youth program for kids). Ability to perform CLIA waived tests. Dispense Rx medications (Must obtain Florida Dispensing License). Collaboration with onsite employees to provide biometric screening and health and wellness education. Direct one-on-one health coaching to employees along with referring patients into wellness programs. This is 100% onsite per diem to cover FMLA, PTO, additional coverage, and LOA's. This will not be full time and will be used on an as-needed basis. Education: Graduate of Certified NP program. Active and unrestricted NP license in Florida. At least 3 years of experience in family practice or urgent care setting. Ability to practice independently in Florida. DEA licensure. Electronic Health Record experience. BLS certification. Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills including internal and external customers and group settings. Active and unrestricted autonomous NP license required in Florida and dispensing license. Minimum of 3 or more years of NP experience, working independently in an internal medicine or family practice setting. Ability to practice independently. DEA licensure and prescriptive authority. Electronic Health Record experience. BLS certification. Ability to work health center hours: Monday 7-5, Tuesday 7-3:30, Wednesday 7-5, Thursday 7-3:30, Friday 7-3:30.
